10 years either way would be no big deal. 20 years older I wouldn't be interested. 20 years younger could be fun (I'm 40)
But, 40 years either way? Not a chance!

I would marry someone 10 years older than me. Never younger. 20-40 years older no. I like older guys myself.

Yes to either 10 years older or younger. 20-40 is too much difference for me.

I would marry someone 10 years older than me, but since I'm in my mid-40s it wouldn't be my cup of tea to go for someone 20 years older than me (or - gasp older than that)

It is highly unlikely that a man 10 years younger than me would interest me........although of course there are exceptions!

What about you? What is your age limit high/low?

id marry someone 10 years older, but when it gets to 20 or 40, you are in completely different stages of your lives & will probably want different things, so not above 10 years for me personally :)

I married someone 8 years older then I was, and that was a major mistake. I think being close in age is important, but I have known people with a large age difference who have been together for a long time.

Yes, I wouldn't have a problem with it at all - I consider someone within a decade of your age in the same age group.

20 years younger is not legal and very very very icky, so no.

40 years younger is not even possible!

If I married someone 10 years younger than myself, I'd be marrying a 17 year old...so no, I wouldn't marry someone 10 years younger.

I don't think I could marry someone with that much difference in age. Not that it's wrong, I just don't think I could. I guess if one person is 70 and the other is 60, that doesn't sound so bad, but when one person is 28, and the other one is 18, that seems pretty strange. I think the most I could deal with is 3 years difference.
