I've seen it mostly for girls, and 1 boy. Just wondering what you all thought.

I think it's best for Cumbrian towns and mint cake, of course they spell it different.

i guess either, but i'd see more Kendall for a girl and just Kendal for a boy. The 2 Ls make it look kind of feminine, but the name could be suiting for a girl or boy

I associate it with a girl mainly because of the long-standing character Kendall on the soap opera, "All My Children."
Of course, there are SO many names that used to be mainly for boys which have been - as some say - "hi-jacked" by girls! So maybe it used to be more of a boys name... but these days I think it's primarily a girl's name.

My first and only thought when I read the name was for a girl. As a boy's name didn't even pop into my head.

I know someone who recently had a baby girl named Kendall. I'd never heard it used as a girl's name before, but it sounds nice!
