The spelling is square root (what you wrote is phonetic spelling and is OK too).

sqrt 6 = 2.449489743

Find the others using the calculator like I did.

For six, take six dots and put them in
a rectangle like on a die or dice.

oo
oo
oo

Now therefore the answer for 6 is
between 2 and 3, a little less than
half way from 2 to 3.

For sqRoot of 50, put 50 dots in a rectangle.

oooooooooo
oooooooooo
oooooooooo
oooooooooo
oooooooooo
So square root of 50 is between
5 and 10, just count the columns and
rows of the O's above.
So half way between 5 and 10 is 7 or 8.
Just make it a little closer to 5 than 10, so
choose 7, not 8.
Square root of 50 is 7.1 or something.

For square root of 2, make a
rectangle with two dots.

oo

This is two long and 1 high.
So square root of 2 is between 1 and 2.
Closer to 1 than 2, about 1.4142

6 is not a perfect square, and that means if you take the square root of 6, you don't get a whole number. the square root of 6 is 2.4495(rounded to two decimal places)

let me use sqrt in replacement with the radical sign for square root...
sqrt(50)=sqrt(25*2)=sqrt(25)*sqrt(2)=5sqrt(2)...since we can extract the square root of 25 which is 5. it is approximately 7.0711

sqrt(2) is approximately 1.4142
