I haven't voted yet, but I'm leaning towards either putting an asterisk on it and sending it to the Hall, or sending into orbit on a rocketship. Bonds is a liar, a cheater and a loser. And since he's a loser, maybe the ball should be lost, too. The more I think about it, the more likely I am to vote to send it into outer space...

Why would anyone want to see it destroyed? It's a piece of baseball history. No matter what you think about Bonds, it's still the record breaking ball.

If he does send it into orbit, I hope somehow he gets tangled in the rocket and is never seen again.

Looks like another, "he has too much money for his own good."

He's not even a baseball fan, what a jackass.

It's history, so put it in the hall. If the plaque along with it wants to explain all the b.s. that goes along with it, so be it, but Bonds was still playing the game, b/c he hadn't been suspended or anything, so it belongs in the hall.

The game of baseball and the people running it can't go back and change the past - they don't get a do-over to start testing in the late-80s and possibly catch any of the 100s of guys who probably took steroids, pitchers and hitters, and erase what has been done. They have to move forward and so does everyone else. We know other pro athletes names are going to be linked to receiving HGH, fail tests and get suspended and be under investigation. We just have to, unfortunately, accept that it's been part of the game in this era and move on. As I said, no do-overs. Boo, fricking, hoo that fans feel cheated for having Bonds break the record - get over yourselves.

Personally I think Bonds and his ball are getting way too much attention. I have to question the intelligence of the guy who spent 750M on a useless baseball. Neither the ball or Bonds deserve to be in Cooperstown. The entire subject isn't worth the time and effort everyone is giving it.

i voted to just put the ball in the hall as is. barry never tested positive for steroids. and the years he was accused of using baseball had no rule against it. it was the juiced era............juiced hitters against juiced pitchers and fielders. 756 is still an amazing feat. no one use from this era that was using hit like him. canseco, camineti, palmerio, giambi, none of them. i'd say put an asterisk on 755 and put that in the hall. why an asterisk on that one??? because barry hit it off a pitcher who had previously tested positive for steroids.

I can't bring myself to vote. It is a peice of history after all, but I really don't want to see it untarnished in the Hall of Fame either.
