As long as you're free within the framework of everything that's conceivable (to you) then you pretty much have it all. OTOH, when you can no longer even -imagine- something you want and don't have, it'd get kinda boring kinda quick ☺
Or was that the 'limitation' you had in mind?

Being a finite being doesn't rob us of our ability to dream, to take risks and to aspire to be better. Freedom is, after all, nothing more than the chance to bet better. Freedom is not a certainty of absolute lack of control; and being finite beings, the only certainty we have is uncertainty and the limit on our options. But even so, we have , I believe, the ability to do what is "right". The question is not really whether we are free or not but whether we are limiting ourselves from what we can actually be.

Because we are finite there are things that we will not do. That is undeniable.
We are free to choose among any of the things that are possible for us to accomplish.
When any one of us is unable to go on, somebody else can choose to follow where the original person has been. In this way our individual finite nature is not a limit to what mankind can accomplish.

Limits set boundaries and to be free means not being bound. Limitations of being finite implies we can not be absolutely free... we can be free only relatively more or less compared with others similarly finite.

Imagine a cloud of rust blowing in the wind.
This rust is about as free as rust can get.
Now imagine we capture this rust, refine it, alloy it and turn it into a sword.
Is the iron/steel that used to be rust free?
Certainly not, it is confined to a much smaller area. The atoms are severely restricted in a crystalline lattice,
BUT they have gained the power to be a sword.
It is by our limitations we gain the power to be human.
By yielding some individual freedoms, we gain the power of society.
As the lines of a picture define the image, so our limitations define who we are. If we become everything, we become nothing.

Yes.
Realize that the being only limits himself so that he can see himself and sense that he exists. Limiting things allows the being to perceive things easily. Therefore, limit is only in the mind of the being. The amount of limit he gives on to something is dependent on how much he wants that something to be free and on his ability to perceive. His ability to perceive is dependent on his belief and confidence in himself.
It follows then that the being himself is the one in control of his freedom. He is only free in as much as he is willing to be.

Sorry, but until your soul is set free at your death, you're a finite being.
