Are there special conditions for going to the Homecoming dance?

I'm still in Middle School, but I'll be in High School next year, and I'd like to know these kinds of things.

It depends on the high school traditions. When I was in high school, it was just like any other after game dance until senior year, when it moved to Saturday and was semi-formal. For semi-formal dances, tickets were sold in advance, and a ticket for a couple was cheaper than buying 2 individual tickets.
