People are gonna say negative my friend was inspired by him when he was in college. He's from Charlotte and eventually was recruited by Florida. His high school team, Independence, were on a 100+ game win streak. Last year he won the National Championship for Florida. 41-14 against Ohio State and was named the MVP. He was signed by the CHicago Bears making him a pro QB

his name is Chris Leak

So vick is both pos. and neg.

He is a good role model of what can happen when you make dumb decisions and hang around the wrong crowd.

Personally, I think its hard to view any famous person as a role model, because you don't know what they do behind close doors. I would try to be a good role model for my son, brother, or any family member.

I would like to hear the argument FOR Vick being a positive role model (although I'm sure Stephon Marbury or Whoopie Goldberg could think up something stupid to say in his favor).

He's negative! He is a lowlife who should be thrown into a pit of starving dogs along with OJ! They are both lowlifes of the worst kind! Vick is an idiot who threw away his career and his millions to indulge in a sick and violent pasttime instead of doing positive things (helping poor kids through college, building community centers, scholarships, etc). He is an idiot with too much money and no brain or common sense!

I'm going to be the loner here and say that he's a positive role model.

Seriously, what parent wouldn't wan't their child to grow up like Vick? He's mean, he makes obscene gestures to his own fans, he forces dogs to fight against their will, and kills them if they don't perform well. He's just an all around great human being!

PS - I was kidding about everything. I don't know anyone on earth who would consider him a "positive" role model.

Did your teacher ask you to design a lop-sided poll?

Similar to OJ...a former positive role model, now a very negative role model.

Vick is a terrible role-model. That stuff he did was terrible as far as the dog fighting.
