if someone says a laptop doesnt have wi-fi does that mean it doesnt have a port for a wireless internet card??

it just means it isnt built in .. if theres a pcmcia or express card slot it will be fine ..

No, it just means there is no Internal Wireless Card. You can get a PCMCIA Wireless card for it for about $30. at a CompUSA, Best Buy, Office Depot or any other like that.

Not necessarily, it just means it doesn't have wireless built-in. You can get a wireless card if your laptop has PCMCIA slot

No, they mean it doesn't have built-in wireless (most new laptops do) But almost all laptops have PMCIA slots for cards.
