Yes, why not?

There is a song in Spanish called 40 and 20. About a man that is with a 20 year old.

Here are some of the lyrics:

Mentiras son todas mentiras
cosas que dice la gente
decir que este amor es prohibido
que tengo 40 y tu 20.

ENGLISH:

Lies, they are all lies
Things that people say
To say that this love is prohibited
because I'm 40 and you 20.

It is a really beautiful song and speaks about the age difference.

Here is the video, even if you don't understand Spanish, you will understand the video:

Men usually mature a lot slower than women so an older man with a younger woman is not that unusual within reason. 10-20 years is winked at, but 40-50 year differences whether they be with an older man or woman is just gold digging.

10 years either way, sure (except I wouldn't marry anyone 10 years younger than me right now, because they'd be underage. Would have to wait a few years).

I wouldn't really have anything against marrying someone 20 or 40 years away from my age, but since I'd like to be with someone I could spend the rest of my life with, I'd tend to stick with someone who's close enough to my age that one of us wouldn't be widowed at an extremely young age.

I did marry somone who was 11 years older than me, and the age difference was never a problem for us. Also when i was 18 i dated a 40 year old woman, and again, no problems.

im 20 so maybe 10 years older but no older than that but usually i date guys around my age so we can be on the same level in life i wouldnt want a guy who has been married and had kids and experienced everything already i would want someone to go through all life's great moments with me.

I'm married to someone more than 25 years older than me. I couldn't imagine a stronger love or more honest relationship with anyone! Age is a number. The soul of a person is what counts. We live in a tremendously ageist culture, which I think is pathetic.

Yup, my current BF is 17 yrs older than me and we get along soooooo well!! I was engaged to a man 11 yrs older than me some years ago..... so I really don't mind and they make for the best partners.... my opinion!!

Oh but BTW..... I wouldn't date a boy 10 yrs younger..... too immature!!! Always older than me but not younger..... and I guess 20 yrs would be my limit. But then again, you don't choose who you will fall in love with, or their age............

Eww no way. The most i would ever do it 5 yrs either older or younger. Cause when you think about it when they were 20 you would be 10 lol thats gross.

Age is something that doesn't matter to me. I am currently engaged to someone 5 years older than I am. In fact, my mom is 7 years older than my dad and his mom is 10 years older than his stepdad. Not to mention that his neighbor is at least 20 years older than his wife.

So it's not unheard of.
