I'm pretty sure it is, but how does it produce waste? HOw does it reproduce and repair itself? What other characteristics of a living thing does it have? Basically anything you can tell me would be appreciated.

Joan H is correct. Yeasts are fungi that are saprophitic. That is, they feed on detritus and other organic material. Yeasts can undergo asexual and sexual reproduction, though budding and fission are the most common form of reproduction. Unlike some other fungi, I don't think they are dikaryotic. They have the same cellular machinery of all eukaryotes, though some organelles and transport systems have been modified or reduced for a unicellular lifestye.

Yes it's a microrganism. It invades the body of a host (not necessarily a human) and uses the nutrients from the host to feed itself, repair and multiply.

Yeast is a fungus. It's waste is in the form of gas - as in when bread rises as the gas forms.
