I wanted to know if there was any one else that had a problem like this.. I was 19 weeks pregnant and I went to the OBGYN to find out what I was having. I was so Excited to find out I was having a BOY!
The Doctor kept leaving the room and coming back in. I asked what was wrong and then the nightmare came and something was wrong with my baby boys heart rate. It was in the mid 200's. I went to the hospital the next day to get a detailed ultrasound done, however the hospital denied my insurance and said that it was inactive. (it was active at the time) and my OBGYN called and told them to get me in for the detailed ultrasound in right away. They refused... The admitted me to MICU and it was down hill from there... To make a long story short.... my son pasted away 3 1/2 weeks later I was 5 1/2 months. The doctor's said I was the ONLY case in the USA for a baby to have a heart rate in the 200's when I was 19 weeks.. Has any one ever heard of something like this before?

My daughter was delivered early by emergency c-section because of a decelerated heart beat. They did a stress test on me and decided the placenta was deteriorating and delivered her within a few hours. She did survive but struggles with a learning disability and has worn glasses since early childhood. I am so sorry for your loss, There's just no greater pain than losing a child.

My heart goes out to you and I would say please don't be discouraged to try again, but please give yourself time to heal, both mentally and physically. There are many things that go on and develop during gestation, some are explained and many are not, be strong and while it might not be what you want to hear, but everything happens for a reason, while it isn't clear to you or me right now, in the future you will understand more than you do now. Continue to be strong and dont be deterred, your blessing is coming, I know (but then I am no body but a woman on yahoo, that wishes the best for you and yours). God Bless.

I'm so sorry for your loss and the massive hassle that hospital put you through. I've never heard of a similar condition before and I hope it never happens to anyone's child again.
