Yes, you can. When I was 38 years old and our children were 18, 15, and 12, I very surprisingly and unexpectedly conceived when I had been taking birth control pills for 11 years. I had not missed any pills nor had I been taking any other medication that would have interfered with the Pill. My doctor could only explain it by saying that birth control pills don't claim to be 100% effective. Only abstinence is completely reliable at preventing pregnancy.

yes you can. the birth control pill is not 100% effective, however if you are taking it regularly as the prescription states EVERYDAY at the SAMETIME you can be sure 99.8% of the time that you have intercourse that you are safe. although birth control is effective, you should still use a condom to be safe from STDs and the .2% possibility of getting pregnant. i know someone who just got pregnant, was taking the pill regularly, but had intercourse without a condom. just be safe!

Nothing but abstinence is 100%. But I have been on the pill consistently since 2006 (after the birth of our 3rd) and we haven't ever used a condom and no surprises yet (knock on wood).

The pill is 97-99% effective so there is a chance you can get pregnant. There is always a chance of pregnancy with any type of protection.

Possible, but still very unlikely if you are taking the pill every day. Most pregnancies on the pill are from missed dosages, being on antibiotics, etc. - not from having a lot of sex.

Chances are pretty slim, I think they say if you take the pill on time, every day consistently it is 99.99% effective. But anything is possible and it does happen! Double up if you really don't want to get pregnant.

Yes, no matter how much protection you use, there's always a chance. So, in your case, yes. Definitely.
