The top of my legs (my inner thigh) hurts so bad!! I feel like I can barely move my legs. It is worse on the left side and it feels like maybe a muscle or tendon or something that connects your leg to your pubic bone or pelvis. It hurts worse when I first stand up and get moving but sometimes I feel like I can barely move my legs! It's not my sciatic nerve...I know what that feels like. I hope this makes sense! lol...does anyone know what I am talking about and if there is anyway to ease the pain? It's not excruciating, just very uncomfortable!

I know EXACTLY what you are talking about. I thought I was crazy until I figured out I wasn't alone - I had it for the last 10-12 weeks of my pregnancy (now i have a 4 month old). It is called PSD or Pubic Symphymis Dysfunction and comes from the joints separateing a bit early for the upcoming delivery. The pain was just unbearable and there were days I felt like i couldn't walk. Tylenol helps, but the most effective was having my husband rub the area and move the muscles, joints around. It was a bit awkward in that area but totally helped.

Just know that it went away completely, 100%, within hours of delivery. Good luck!!!

yep I have that too and i'm 38 weeks now. Its just your muscles movin around. Are you carrying low? I found that this time around i'm carrying low and lots of discomfort in all that region.
Try a hot bath or better yet, get one of those birthing balls or even the yoga ones and just sit on it and rock (with your legs spread) it will make a HUGE diference if you do that regularly. Trust me! lol

ugh, its probably a pulled muscle. Take some tylenol, put a hot pad on it (set to low, its not gonna hurt the baby) and try to rest. You may need to have someone help you get up form bed for a while, so the muscle can rest.

hi! yeah, when i was pregnant i had severe leg cramps in my upper thigh and sometimes in my lower calf. its because of so much pressure of the weight! dont worry, you're almost at the end--- they'll fade away. just try not to stand up for periods of time that are TOO long and keep your legs lifted when laying down.

I have it too...AND in my left leg. And it just seems to get worse as this pregnancy goes on.
