MINE SITS AND SOMETIMES THERE IS ALL WHITE FURRY STUFF GOING ON IN THERE. lol
I dont drink it every day and so i forget about the pot.

I usually clean it right out unless something comes up and i step out and let the coffee pot shut off automatically and then I forget about it until the next day. I would hate to forget about it and leave it until like 2 or 3 day's that would be yucky and i would probably have to buy a new coffee pot as i love my coffee. I am weird like that!

I've done both - I *try* to remember to dump the filter basket within at least the same day that I made the coffee, but I've also thrown out really icky looking moldy coffee grounds, too.... eeeeewwwww!

No, I empty it immediately. If you let it sit with coffee in the pot it will drip bitterness into the coffee. I like coffee a lot. It is my last vise. The one I will never give up.

We restrain our coffee into the carafe for a very full flavor coffee also known as double brewed. And then we dump the grounds. Dried grounds also make good fertilizer.

I just use instant. Taster's Choice tastes better than anything I ever brewed and anyway who needs the hassle.

I don't drink coffee everyday myself, so I usually clean it everytime...but, I've forgotten it myself b4. I agree!
