If I'm not mistaken, one of the last shuttle missions was picked up on a baby monitor. Yeah, they're not too cloistereda as to their range.

Yeah, I wouldn't put too much mysticism into this. Baby monitors operate at a pretty busy range of radio frequencies. Chances are, she picked up some of the sounds on another baby monitor in the neighbourhood.

Sometimes ghosts communicate using radio waves.

Maybe you were picking up radio stations on the monitors. That's pretty common.

"...it wasn't clear it sounded kind of electronic,w/ a little raspy to me..."

Yeah, that's because it wasn't a man's voice. I have never understood this. If you think you hear something, carry the monitor into the boys' room and see what happens. It's not rocket science.

I'm trying really hard not to be culturally insensitive here...but have failed. Cultures that use words like Tia are notoriously superstitious, hyper-religious and given to a predisposition to believing in a wide variety of supernatural things (i.e. chupacabra, Virgin Mary appearing in oil slicks, etc.)
