No, not the John Cena fan that supposedly "cheated" to get where she is.
The controversy revolves around HULK RULES!
Personally, he has my respect, but take a look at his answers.

It struck me as kind of funny how the user with the avatar of the Icon of professional wrestling (comparible to today's John Cena) has such a love-or-hate fanbase.

I think we are actually takin on the role of our favorite wrestlers as if they were on here in yahoo answers. I am a huge Bret fan but not once I have whined and dissed America. I just needed to say my piece and I thought it would have backlash but people welcomed it and respected it and some said finally someone spoke up about it.
Rock you have all my respect and I agree. Here there are heels (Magic Marker and Holla M and they play the part perfectly). You have the faces such as yourself, ItsShowtimeFolks, Book of Wrestling and Mr. C. You have the Tweeners such as me and Hulk Rules.
People here are underrated just like alot of wrestlers as well. Some are overrated. And some cheat to get their way to the top (end of WCW when Nash booked.)
So there is a great resemblance.

To answer your question, probably because alot of us care so much about wrestling and our favorite wrestler(s). We also feel strongly about the wrestlers that we do not like and voice our opinions, especially when someone dogs our favorite wrestlers.
