Would not ever perforate the heart....that would be planned heartbreak....this poem may be silly but 'tis sincere...and true....
SariJane Marrow
sat all alone
hole punch in hand
perforated her heart
shedding her tears
before love could start
so certain of heartbreak
so certain of woe
so certain she wanted
just a clean tear to wear
darkness and trouble
walked by her side
companions who welcomed
the turmoil ahead
guests of misfortune
to coddle and groom
so sweetly to usher
anticipated doom
Another pathway
still another lass
Lonnie Northrupp
all smiles and sass
wandering the canyons
of love yet to come
deaf to the whispers
of sorrows and loss
she forges ahead
her eyes all aglow
The heart may be broken
with pieces jagged sharp
but the heart that is hopeful
is the heart that can mend
though the pieces may dangle
and bleed now and then
she'll bind up the pieces
to let love bloom again

Crying incessantly cleans out the loaded heartburnt within a person. After doing so, one should leave no pieces hanging on for you will not have a clean perforated heart. All those heart feelings must washed out and start anew beginning.

When my heart was broken I thought it was a clean tear but I was never over it, I just went on with my life. So I suppose there is still a little piece hanging on somewhere in there.

It seems there are always little jagged pieces hanging on. Don't ya think it would be so much easire with a clean tear? Never so simple I'm afraid......for me anyway.

Good point. But maybe they got something on there hands? Trying to rip off un-perforated paper with one hand would probably result in the whole roll unraveling. And also, when i go to the public toilet, I'd rather not see where someone had their grubby lil' hands on the loo paper before me. Actually where I live, most public toilets do have un-perforated toilet paper with the tear off dispenser so one actually touches the paper.

All I have left is the little jagged pieces. The rest was recently torn out through my @zz.

Even with the broken pieces, I dig for a tear because it's a single drop that has the potential to set everything right...whether it's to set the pieces free, or put them back togehter....

What fun would a clean tear be? Isn't all about the pain??? what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger. So grit your teeth and endure the pain of growth and strength......
