Maybe you were in the Network Connections folder? Try going into a regular folder (like My Pictures). If you have done that, and it's not there, then try doing a System Restore to the last time you know it worked right.

EDIT - Go to Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore. Select "Restore my computer to an earlier date" and click Next. From the calendar, choose a previous date when the Folder options appeared in your Tool menu (for example, 12th September). Note that only those days which are in bold letters have a System Restore point. After choosing your date, select the Next s and OK s. Your computer will restart and you will be notified if the System Restore option was successful.

P.S. Don't restore your computer too many days back, because System Restore will erase all updates of your Windows, anti-virus, anti-spyware and other software within that period (for example, if you restore your computer to 6th August, you will lose all your updates from 7th August to 18th September, i.e. today).

Oh yes, please modify your profile to enable messages to be sent to you. You won't get spam from any Yahoo! Answers user, and I (and other users) can mail you instead of changing the answers here.

I am really sorry, but I can't help you out here. The fact is I have switched to Ubuntu-Linux operating system for about 4 months and I have lost touch with Windows XP.
