What the word for when someone about to die and they want to tell us what we should do For ex: my grandpa..?

For ex: my grandpa.....us that we have to get into college and get a degree and make our life successful.

There may be some fancy Latin word for that; but I don't think you would really care to know it. Your Grandpa's advice was his way of telling you, for the last time, that he loves you. God bless him, and God bless you.
