Have to agree with the others; fun stuff is going to involve leaving town. Temecula's reputation is to be very family friendly, not nightlife oriented.

Here's one idea that works if you have any interest or enjoyment of beer. Head on over to Stone Brewery in Escondido for their 6 pm tour and beer sampling http://www.stonebrew.com/ and stay afterwards for dinner in their totally unique restaurant/bar area. They have about 30 brews on tap. The restaurant bar has a very unique setting with both indoor and outdoor seating and I've had a lot of fun there. They also have a lot of special events, including a book club and classes and special brew related events. Their website tells all. So round up some friends and make a trip out of it. I find that it's a fun activity to take out-of-town visitors to, and they've always enjoyed it.

Escondido's not too far from Temecula.

omg, I live in San Diego and all the people I know who live in temecula say it's really boring there. I think you're better off finding some friends and having a house party. Unless of course you want to roll around in the grass that they have so much of. But yeah, people I know say that there's nothing to do there and that they miss SD<33 You should live down here!!

Yikes-not much!!! There used to be a fun cowboy bar(even if you're not a cowboy) near the downtown area, but not sure if it is still there. Other than that-find a designated driver & head into the gaslamp san Diego.

Go to the club at Pechanga... it's always crowded and the inside is very nice. Arrive pretty early because waiting outside sucks!
