Naomi is a beautiful name ... but Olphilia may get her teased horribly in high school. ("I'll-feel-ya" is just an example of what they might come up with). Come to think of it, Naomi kind of has a bad rap from another popular movie, where the name is described as "I-moan" backwards. Yikes! lol... In all seriousness, though... an unusual name might work better with a more "common" name. For example, Naomi Caroline, Katherine Naomi, or Naomi Olphilia instead. That way, the unusual name is the middle name and the child can "hide" it if they feel embarassed by it later.

I'm not a big fan of Olphilia, but I do like Ophelia.

Ophelia Naomi Martin sounds nice. So does her first and last name together: Ophelia Martin.

I love the last name lol! *looks around* Its not my surname...I swear!...ok, I dont.

Anyway, Im not too crazy for Olphilia, I agree with the "I'll feel ya" comment. And if you intended Ophelia, I personally dont like it because it is Greek for "Help" and creates in my mind a helpless woman, also, it was a fitting name for the character in Hamlet because she went insane and killed herself. It just brings to mind sad things and a sad person to me.

I do like Naomi. In hebrew it is "pleasant" and in japanese I believe it would be "honest and beautiful".

I am also a guy I am not a big fan of Olphilia but, I do like Naomi. But, if you have a particular reason for picking that name then bless you. Keep in minds kids are cruel... When naming my daughter I picked a name thinking also about nicknames, etc... Good Luck...
