'funky' day? Mine is today. And, what did you do to uplift your spirits? HELP.............

Mine was today. I Had a Dr appointment at the Oncologist and Chunky my oldest rescue was hacking and coughing and running a 103 temp, so I got Him in the vets office, I'm there so much they recognize my voice and I always get in, I'm putting a Vets kid through college, at about $300 a month And what did I see when I got there a stray dog that got hit by a car, and I had to bite my lip or I would have taken it home after they set it's broken legs. After $60 for Chunky, (bronchitis), I had to go my appointment. Had blood drawn( I lost 8 lbs) and I saw the Dr and the shot I'm getting is effecting my liver slightly, But my blood test isn't all bad I have some red blood cells now. $117.00 there. I get home and Chunky barfed up the pills I gave him. After cleaning that up Chunky gets more pills and I'm pooped now.and then Emma Mae my blue tick coon hound with the allergies hops up beside me on the sofa and gave me a wet nose and a lick something she rarely does, My stress level dropped and she set beside me and it was peace full again. until Woody my New Orleans Katrina female Aussie cattle dog/ German short hair mix jumps 7 feet through the air and lands on me. Now it's a normal day.

I've been having a funky week actually. Have lost about 45 k this quarter with my job (I'm a broker) and the rest of the year aint lookin much better. I am still amazingly in very high spirits though. What I try to do is imagine what it is that I want. If I can truly envision and feel what it is that I want, I believe that it will come to me. It may come to me in a unforseen way but it will come. I know its sounds hokey but I'm telling it works. Much like people who trust their faith, I trust my thoughts/beliefs. I also try to remind myself of the good things/people I have in my life and appreciate them. We're not going to be in great moods all of the time, so lets try to give ourselves a break as well...

hi miss ellie,didn't feel all that good today and tomorrow ain't looking to good either.i got to see a lung specialist at 9 in the morning and then be at my shrink's office by 12 also.i'll be lucky if i'm back on here tomorrow.glad you're doing fine.

Like Mother, like daughter! "funky" is a good way to describe it! How do I pull out of it?? I have a REALLY GOOD MAN that helps me :) Sometimes a good cry helps, too.

Today was mine to! One of my friends got asked out by the guy I think is SO hott, and she knows I like him. She told him yes! I know they won't last 4 long!! That's what's getting me through!
