Or did he benefit from a little patriot-gate while he was in NE. One thing is for sure: his offense is just offensive right now. No TDs in three games and counting.
He can't be out-coached (he said so himself), so why is his team not finding the end zone? Anyone?

Well, he don't look like an offensive genius anymore is he? no touch down after 3 games and a negative rushing yards after 3 games. This guy is way over hype as a coach, how can a team all sudden, went from a BCS bowl and 0-3 the next year, and possibly 0-8 before he gets his first of the season. Hmmm his comment of being out coached, is no way, i can't be out coached, that's just to show you how arrogant he is, once in a while any great coach gonna be out coached by some other coach, of course it happen, but not Charlie Weis, lol.

Because even though he's a great head coach when it comes to getting the most out of his players, he's not a great recruiter when it comes to talent. It doesn't help that the University of Notre Dame has very strict guidlines for it's students...making it hard for a lot of athletes to make the grade and qualify for that school, so you tend to not get a lot of athletes that would go to Notre Dame if they were smart enough to do it, and some others...can't financially afford it without full scholarships...and about 1/2 the team in college is walk on or has only a partial scholarship normally. So sometimes....it's money, sometimes it's grades...and part of it is recruiting as well.
Don't expect Notre Dame to get any better, any time soon. Why? because that's how the alum (who donate big money) want it....they want their way, not what is best for the school.
You can't blame Chalie Weis for alot of what is wrong in South Bend. Though it would be nice to see him doing more to get the best out of what he has.......

Hey they were lucky to get 3pts, a so called big bad USC defence were trampling them. and to top that ND's QB is the worst i have ever seen, theres highschool QB's better than him. Dont put this game aginst them, not like they could win this everyone knew that. It also isent Weis' fault about there record. If you remember in 05 and 06 they were like 10-2 and 9-3 or something like that and was a good football team ranked in the top 10, after 06 they went down the drain. Its because they didnt get all the recurits they thought. **Why do you have to much hate-rid tord Nortre Dane? Did they beat your team in the 05 or 06 season?

He may be an offensive genius but he seems very much a below average college football coach. He will need to be the greatest motivator in the history of the game to get these guys on track. Lets see....Tom Brady....Brady Quinn.......Methinks he should be recruiting high school quarterbacks with the first name of "Quinn"

this is the same for any coach. if you have a good team, you become a good coach, if you have a bad team you become a not so good coach.
example: ND last year with quinn and walker and smardzija they were good and so was weiss. this year they have clausen and a bunch of nobodys, hence their 0-3 record.
same with any other sport.
phil jackson 6 rings with jordan/pippen and kobe/shaq. now the lakers get a 1st round exit every year.
belichick sucked in cleveland, went to NE and got brady and won 3 superbowls.
