I couldn't find that by Nina Simone, but Peggy Lee had a huge hit with a song called "Fever" back in the 50s (?). It begins:
Never know how much I love you
Never know how much I care
When you put your arms around me
I get a fever that's so hard to bear
You give me fever (you give me fever) when you kiss me
Fever when you hold me tight (you give me fever)
Fever ... in the mornin'
Fever all through the night

If that's the one, it's what you'd call a torch song. Go to http://www.allmusic.com/ and you can search by genre and listen to samples.

The song is "Fever", written by the tragic figure Little Willie John, who had an R&B hit with it first, then Peggy Lee recorded it and had a huge hit. Ms. Lee's version is just as good as Mr. John's, for different reasons.

Hearing Peggy Lee sing "Fever" live while backed by Count Basie in 1978 is one of the highlights of my life.
