A republican answerer on here used this quote to defame Hillary Clinton:
"The day hillary becomes president is the day I get to say my work is finished successfully"
--Nikita Khruschev, Soviet leader 1953-1964
The answerer (william B) got 3 thumbs up for this and only 1 thumb down (from myself). Is anyone else aware that Clinton was 7 years old at the time this man was in power?
Why, if you automatically oppose the war, do you hate America? people have been able to present their views in America for over 200 years and not be criticized for it, why start now? Now that is not to say democrats don't don't do it, but i have not seen half as much from the left as from the right. Does anyone actually believe Hillary Clinton's philosophies are based on Adolf Hitler's? Does anyone believe Barack Obama is a terrorist? These silly acusations destroy what this country was built on, and the people who aim these accusations look like they want to destroy it.
Please answer this with courtesy.

wow, a lot of questions. Hold on to your hat, just letting you know up front I'm a conservative.
The nikita quote, either you mistook what "william b" was saying, or he misquoted something along the way. It clearly, in the context you are stating it, doesn't make sense.
The "opposing the war" part of your question, from my perspective, I wholeheartedly believe we should be there and are doing the right thing.
And I think the problem cons have with libs voicing their anti-war sentiment and equating it with hating America is because I personally see the libs criticizing American more often and more strongly than they criticize the terrorists.
I never hear a lib say that they love America and what it stands for, or fly a flag or have the decency to respect the families of the soldiers who are fighting this war. Everyone has a right to their opinion but do you see how the anti-war sentiment, coupled with the world-wide anti-America sentiment (that has been around long before Bush got into office) could be offensive to us and absolutely dangerous to the effort are troops are putting forth?
As far as Hillary (as I like to refer to her HiLiary), clearly she has not murdered 11 million people, so in that sense she is not like Hitler. But in the sense of being able to sway and manipulate an eager and willing press (yes, I believe the mainstream media is left-tilted), when ANY political party has that much control over a news media, it can't be good. However, it does no one any good (libs or cons) to use such extreme analogies. Ditto for Obama.
The one thing that is interesting though, is that just as you see most of the animosity coming from the right, I happen to see an overwhelming majority of it coming from the left. But I become suspect of criticism when it always berates America, my home; freedom, my way of life.
So you can email me the answer if you want to, but can you understand (not agree with, but just understand) how a conservative hears anti-American rhetoric from terrorists, anti-American rhetoric from libs (or, at best, never any pro-American sentiment from libs, and we tend to lump them all together, for the most part). Is that something that makes any sense to you?
PS, I agree, the lunatic accusations from both sides has got to stop.
And I do appreciate your sincere, unloaded questions. Take care -- and God bless us all!

it will develop the lives of over a million people who can not get well-being care through fact they have a preexisting situation. some components of Obama care has already been carried out alongside with ill toddlers and young little ones can not be grew to become down by using massive coverage. college age little ones can now survive their mothers and fathers regulations until the age of twenty-six. it extremely is a sturdy element for each individual. Having low-priced heath care is the splendid element to do, this is going to save everybody money however the Republicans do no longer choose a Democratic president, our first Black president, to bypass down in historic past through fact the guy who did it. it extremely is unusual that the non secular suitable wing are those complaining the main while this is going to help a million intense ill persons and it extremely is a humanitarian attempt. they are additionally scuffling with the pupil own loan software while it may no longer cost them a penny. we are the only for income well-being care gadget interior the international so, in case you are able to no longer cope with to pay for a existence saving surgical operation the republicans think of you should die if massive coverage can not make a income off of your ailment.

Isn't it obvious that it doesn't have to be true for them to believe it? I mean, come on .. the past 6 years haven't made that crystal clear??
You must realize that you are dealing with a small population of the people who are feeling backed into a corner. As the majority has come to their senses, these few will continue to do whatever they can think of to try and scare people into thinking "their way". Unfortunately for them, their time has come and gone .. every so swiftly.
Don't let the spin make you dizzy. Side-step and move forward. And of course, don't forget to vote! ;)

Oh, for pity's sake. Do you *honestly* think the Democrats don't do the same thing?!?
Do *not* assume all conservatives feel the way *one* poster here does. I certainly don't assume that all liberals are as intolerant and psychotic as some of the YA users.
No, you're not anti-American if you hate the war, as long as you don't smear the troops.
And while I freely admit that I'm not a fan of Hillary, I think comparing *anyone* to Hitler is insane and over the top.
No, I don't believe Obama is a terrorist. I *do* believe he is too liberal for my tastes, but certainly not a terrorist.
Being rational sets me up for crap from *both* sides of the political spectrum....

Look at the way they have attacked Alan Greenspan, who is a Republican. If they will attack one of their own when he disagrees with them, then they will attack a Liberal 100 times harder.
If they can't find any dirt, they will lie about anyone who opposes them. They call it the new world order.
But the Neocons are about to get a reality check next year.

By reading the responses on these pages, it is obvious that many who oppose the war DO hate America. They wish it harm and failure. You don't have to read between the lines. They say it loud and clear. If as much attention was paid to half of the stuff our enemies were saying as to what Bush says, people would be lined up around the corners at recruiter's offices.
