Sketch a reasonable graph showing the relationship between the volume of air in a ballon and the diameter of the ballon. Be sure to label your axes.

Ok...so you need to find the functional relationship between the diameter of the balloon and it's volume right?

Assume the balloon is a sphere......what's the volume of a sphere?

V = (4/3)πr³

Now.....you have radius......what the relationship of diameter and radius?

d = 2r....right?

So....YOU can substitute this into the formula for V and simplify it....that will be your answer.

I think your graph may be more like the function of the volume of a sphere. x,y, & z
