well one the hot spots for crop circles are in England. So what ur saying is they would be "smart enough" to speak english and they should risk their own safety by landing and talking to us. What if the crop circles are a test of "our" knowledge and understanding. To see if we are even worth the trouble.

Crop circles started as pranks and are now forms of art. The first was near Tully, Queensland in 1966 but not in a crop. The association with "flying saucers" came immediately from two locals who said they had seen one the previous night. Load of old cobblers right from the start. This page though seems to have the facts.

I think that crop circles are either a load of sh1te made up by ourselves (which is the obvious answer), or it is indeed, something genuine from another planet (which I would like to believe)!!!!
I would love nothing more than to think that Aliens are possibly trying to tell us something, but what is anyones guess.
You say a mathematical communication. Well, they are definately some form of sign, but why mathematical?
It would indeed explain the belief that they are much more intelligent than us, hence travelling billions of light years to reach us. Hhhmm... I would love to find out the real answer one day, but I doubt that will ever happen.

Geometrical signs to other U.F.O.'s telling them where to land there spaceship, is that what you mean because i think it's just people trying hoax other people as a prank.

Think about this why would they leave signs and images in farmers fields, any race that is advanced enough to travel light years would have the technology to communicate with us in a way that we would understand, so ask yourself this would you travel light years from you home planet to some primitive world just to leave crop circles in some aliens field just to confuse them and then go home?

Ok lets say it is a test for us why should we even try to understand it, what if they travel from world to world doing this with other civilizations and when the civilization answer the test correctly the aliens come down and wipe them out of existance, from what people know about U.F.O.'s and aliens is that they seem not to care about the well being of humans in general as a matter of fact keeping to themselves seems a bit anti-social, what if they are isolationists and they want to curb other races from expanding into the universe, so they give them a test and when they solve it and prove that there intelligent enough to solve the puzzle, they get wiped out.
