I've been offered Willis McGahee, Julius Jones, and Olindo Mare for Adrian Peterson (MIN). At first glance this seemed like a good trade, but after looking it over, I saw that it was really Willis McGahee for Adrian Peterson since I would never play the other two players. I would rather just trade for McGahee than have to drop two of my current players to get Jones and Mare. What do you think?

I'd reject this trade depending on who else you have on your team, because if you have guys that aren't as valuable then Jones or Mare then yes I'd accept, but like I said it's hard to choose whether or not you should do it or not. I'd still reject it though. I think Adrian will have a very good rookie year, not saying Willis won't but Julius is wasteful(he only gets 3 per carry basically) and to trade for a kicker is wasteful also.

Chester Taylor will be coming back to steal carries away. The Ravens also have alot more invested in McGahee so they will be more determined to get there moneys worth. You have a veteran QB in Baltimore and a better team. That defense will be getting him back the ball alot too. Scrap the other scrubs he wants to give you for 1 player you could get use out of.

I vote NO. Adrian Peterson has the potential to be great this season as seen in week 1 and he is as of now the featured back for Minnesota.

Peterson is a good RB, but it simply isn't worth it because you will be forced to drop two players. I would counter offer with a trade for an even number of players.

Get something for Peterson while you can. You'll notice that he wasn't very succesful against the Lions because they stacked the box. Every team in the NFL will do the same, because the Vikings passing game is no threat to anyone.

i would milk peterson for a couple more weeks, seeing that chester taylor is not at full capacity and will get less carries, so i would keep peterson for a couple more weeks till taylor gets back and then trade him for j.jones and w. mcgahee
