I just recently discovered that there was a senior citizen catalogy on answeres. Who would know to look under society and culture, then culture and groups. Did you have a hard time finding it, or just me? I was just wondering.

I can't pick a best answer to this question, so I will just let it stay around for a vote and maybe other seniors can find the catalogy from this question. Thanks for all the answers. I am glad I found you.

I accidentally found a Senior Citizen question one day, then could not figure out where the Senior Citizen section was located again. I think I read an explanation from someone else on how to find it! I kept getting into the "alternative lifestyle" group and they didn't like me much!!! (laughing here) I guess it took me a week of fumbling around to get very good at finding the Senior Citizen section. Now it's my favorite place on Yahoo Answers.

I found it by accident when answering a question from the
senior citizens category, and was surprised to see it listed.
It took me about four months. I didn't realize there were sub
categories and there are still many I have yet to look into. I
usually answer from the generalized question page, and the
senior page now. I enjoy reading the different comments
about the good old days when we seniors were kids and
growing up. Most of us, never talk about them anymore. I
mean, who cares except a senior? I wish I'd cared enough
to ask my family elders about their youths or even how they
met their life long mates. But I was too busy living to even
think about what I would want to know when I was also an
elder about the familys' past. Now there's no one around to
ask.

I think I found it about a week ago when I saw a question from this section. It took me a while to figure out how to get back here, at 1st I'd just go back to the question I'd answered and click on the 'senior' part and go from there. lol

For awhile I didn't know there were all these sub catagories and was just answering from the main pages. I'm glad I found this section, it's fun hearing all the different and similiar things about everyone here.

I just found it, since I ask a question about re-retiring, and was amazed at the response..............I am just thinking about asking more questions now, some how the other categories turn me off and I get silly like the youngsters in other categories. My life in retirement is spent constantly trying to find other places to retire, do others have this problem, I probably should stop looking and enjoy it here in the Philippines, with two maids, nice house, good food, friendly smiles, low transportation costs etc, all for under $1000 a month but, one is never happy it seems and they seek other pastures that are greener than theirs.

I just discovered it a few days ago. It would help if it was listed under a separate heading. It is a nice place to visit and see how other people think about things and maybe answer or ask a question or two.

It took me about 2 months and then it was by accident. I was just checking out all the sites to see what they were about and I pushed the wrong heading and there it was . I enjoy this site very much and there are all ages participating . For the most part it is interesting to see different opinions expressed in the answers and some of the questions are pure genious!

not long. I looked over the Category list and saw society and culture. Tried it. Saw culture and groups and thought..that's it. Clicked on seniors. But thought i was gonna find something more like "30's", "40's", "50's" list..lol.

Several months. I wasn't aware of a Seniors site until I came across it by accident.

Its very cleverly hidden in 'society/ cultures' then under 'culture and groups'.
