Yes, that's fine. It's good that your diet is very healthy and you are staying away from caffeine and sweets but don't beat yourself up over it if you give in once in a while. Your baby will not be harmed. Making processed sugar and caffeine a normal part of your diet may negatively affect the baby, but everything should be fine if it's only on occasion.

Really, it depends on who you ask. When I was pregnant I read a book that specified that women should restrain themselves from sweets, etc.....
But.... most other sources say everything in moderation is fine. I personally used this information, but to the nth degree. I have a huge sweet tooth and ate a dessert everyday. LOL
You are safe and the baby will be perfect. To be honest, if you are stressing about eating sweets, that's worse on the baby than the sweets.... so I say eat up and bon appetite.

Yes! Candy is ok. Just don't make it a daily habit to have 23987 bars of Snickers. Keep it in moderation.
It's ok to give into your cravings once in a while. There's a reason you're having the craving, because your body wants or needs something from that particular food.
Just be careful about gestational diabetes which you should be tested for at around 28 weeks.

You and the baby will be fine. I ate so much junk while I was pregnant its not funny. I was so bad with the cravings that if I didn't get what I wanted I felt like I was going to go crazy and my baby was wonderful then and still is!! You have way more will power than I do. Wish I could have that much control. You go girl!!!
Congrats and good luck

candy wont hurt anything!!! dont worry about every little thing you will be absolutely ok and so will your baby. If everything was as bad as people claim they would make us pregnant women live in bubbles for 9 months. once you get towards the end of you pregnancy you will losen up some on what you eat and dont eat.

You are fine.
Just as long as you don't eat pounds of it everyday. But, once a week or so won't hurt you or you baby. In fact, it will make you feel better, and will cure the craving for a while.
The biggest worry with eating sugar is excess weight gain.

Most pregnant women have cravings and it's ok to indulge in moderation, candy is high in calories and can make you gain more weight than you should, so eat everything in moderation, you should be fine.

sweets are fine--just in moderation...My pregnancy cravings (I'm 28 wks) have been fresh fruit, and blueberry muffins--not to mention ice cream..so i am trying to be good...lol
i have only gained 14 lbs with this pregnancy so far.
I would let yourself have something sweet, maybe some fruit everyday..just to ward off the sugary sweet cravings if you are worried about it.
