You need to pay more and show them more respect if an employer needs to ask these questions then they need to look harder at themselves a ask why people don't want their job!!!

I'm not clear if you are referring to dry cleaners, or household cleaning products. Apparently, neither are a lot of other people. Dry cleaners are not necessarily good because they charge more. I've had terrible quality from very expensive places, and good service from inexpensive places. I'd stick with a place where English is not a second language. Sometimes foreigners are not motivated to provide quality service as they have no history in the community, so don't care as much. Keep looking until you find a place where you can have a relationship with the owners or at least the staff. Give them a big smile and try to find out their names and use them. Engage them in conversation so they will remember you. They will be more motivated to attend to your concerns.

As for cleaning products, which ones re you looking for?

Let me see ... I think the problem is that too many of the cleaners' customers are using the home "dry cleaning kits" (which are really home freshening kits) and don't really know what dry cleaning can be.

Then there is the second group of consumers who want to drop off their cleaning at the front of one of the big box stores and get it back cheap cheap cheap.

So unless you can find the last of the mom and pop shops somewhere, reliable, suitable dry cleaners may be buried in the latter end of the 20th Century.

P.S. I am willing to pay as much as they charge: good clothing is an investment and should be respected as such.

You talking about a person to clean or a cleaning product? Want a good answer, ask a good question.

If it is cleaning product, because "dirt" is comprised of many different materials such as mineral, oil and grease, smoke, chemical change, etc and each requires a different chemical component to break the bonds adhering it to various surfaces. Speaking of surfaces, each reacts differently to various chemical or physcial cleaners (scouring powder for example). You've got to match the "dirt" and the surface" taking into account the location (inside/outside) and several other factors (are you trying "sterilize") before you can find the perfect cleaner. Basic H, Simple Green are good first tries as they are suitable for many different problems and surfaces.

You need to tell us what it is you want to clean. I have found that the best cleaner for every need is Basic H. It is made by the Shaklee company and a gallon is expensive but lasts for a year. It is used in different dilutions for different uses.
