i would like to find some astatine-anywhere! is there a perodical elements store where you can buy element samples for scientific use? if so, im interested in purchasing an astatine sample to show my lab

If it could be made available, it would cost a fortune. Astatine is man-made and has a half life of only 21days and exists in a special lab container in very small amounts at any time.

As it is a radioactive atom, you most likely need to have a large number of permits to handle/store/buy the atom from anywhere...that being said, there are lots of companies selling nuclear materials that would probably sell it..but at what cost I do not know..

Try some nuclear reactor. It is radioactive.
