hahahahha. good one

oh we got another reporter live on the scene here.

we should all straighten up and live by her rules for now on.

sorry buddy, but ALL smoking on air planes is now illegal.

even pipes and cigars were not allowed when smoking WAS ok.

BUT when I have my own space ship, I'll let you smoke your cigars (only if you bring one for me too)

According to many scifi sources you will most likely be asleep while traveling, so the question is moot.

You will probably be allowed to dream about smoking, unless someone figures out how to watch other peoples dreams, in which case someone else will put up "no dreaming about smoking" signs, and then some bureaucrat will fine you.

Though I think if smoking, in general, was allowed Kirk would have. Riker probably would have also- just not tobacco.

Sure they had cigar rooms on the zepplin's which were full of flamable gases, but smoke in zero g will be quite a mess unless the room has a vaccuum filteration unit or something. I can't stand smoke on the ground, if the person riding shotgun with me in a shuttle wants to smoke he better close his damn helmet. haha

More than likely, if you wish to smoke on a space flight, you will be asked to step outside and smoke on the screen porch.

na man it's all gonna be non-smoking... you can't exactly just open a window in space to clean the air out and the oxygen will be tough to come buy up there prob one of the most expensive resources, like gas is on earth.

I think when you factor the cost of hauling oxygen up into orbit and the need to filter it and recycle it, I doubt there going to see smoking as an alowable extravagance.

It would be nice, because I won't go to space unless I can smoke my pipe to.

I suspect there will be no smoking on space craft, just like there is no smoking on aircraft now.

No smoking will be allowed inside the spacecraft. If you wish to smoke, you'll have to step outside.

I think not, smoking or burning releases carbon dioxide which will burn or oxygen passengers need to breath, and why waste it to burn off the oxygen you'll need to make it to your destination. Yes even if you have unlimited amount of oxygen, its just pointless...
