I'm not for condoms cause I just dont like them, its uncomfortable with them. I was thinking if my fiance would do a vasectomy, freeze his sperm and then artificially inseminated, but we both like the natural way. then pills sounds unhealthy to me. I even heard that they cause a cancer. is there any quite healthy birth control?

AND DONT ANSWER ABSTINENCE! grow up. we will have sex!

A vasectomy isn't the answer, it's hard for some people to get pregnant and doing this will just make it harder.

I think you should learn about your cycles and how your body works. There really is only a 5-6 day window that you can get pregnant and during that time you could use some sort of barrier method and the rest of the time you wouldn't have to use anything.

Wow, I am learning something here, I didn't know that the diaphragm was still on the market, the method of birth control that worked best for me was a tubal ligation. Tried the pill, condom, diaphragm and even had an IUD back in the early 80s that almost killed me. You young people today have so many more options, but that depro shot and the pill that lets you have a period only 4 times a year, well, the stats aren't all back in yet, the female body was constructed to bleed once a month any deviation from that is unnatural. Whatever you choose, please choose wisely and carefully. God Bless.

No not really, all your pharmaceutical BC pills come with the risks of blood clots, heart attacks, and strokes, especially if you smoke tobacco. It is not immature to talk about abstinence, but in your case not necessary. As long as your both clean and maintain a monogamous relationship you don't need to be concerned with abstinence. So whether you choose BC or he gets a vasectomy party on. Condoms I guess are ok as well.
Abstinence is only a solution for some , because they are just spreading STDs all over the place like it's the thing to do. It's society's ignorance and morality. They should grow up!!! It's nothing to CLAP about.
But anyway good luck with your future bond with your fiance.

Hello! For me it is an IUD. It is placed inside you by the doctor and after the initial placement (when you bleed and feel bad for a few weeks) there are no side affects except heavier period for the first few months. There are two kinds, one with hormones, and one without. They are both as effective as the pill but the one with hormones will make your periods lighter. I have the one without. It lasts ten years but if you want to have a child you can get it taken out in an office visit and you will be fertile instantly. I think that the IUD is the best kept secret out there. If your doctor tells you it is a bad idea because it does not protect you from sexually transmited diseases, tell him/her that neither does the pill. Only condoms do. I would research it more but I would say that no hormones, no worries and no baby is the way to go.

A vasectomy is the cheapest birth control there is.

But let me ask you a question. What condoms are you using? I had a vasectomy 20 years ago and I still use condoms. In fact, I have rarely ever had sex without one. I don't feel anything different. But I also don't use the cheap condoms. If you are buying the ones made in India, or China, then you are using the thick ones. By American condoms, they are thinner and just as strong as the thick imports. I am 41, I have never broke one.

There are many solutions to prevent pregnancy: birth control pills, condoms, spermicides, after day pill and much more...

Birth contro are not unhealthy, they are good if you use them in a good way. The recommnedation is to go to the doctor before beggining with this process.

There is depo vera, that is the shot you take every three months. And there is the IUD. And there is other ways just ask your doctor. And if your fiance will do that with his sperm for you. You probably have the perfect man. There is other birth control. You just need to ask the doctor and see which one is best for you

A vasectomy is the safest and most reliable. I'm getting mine next month, so wish me luck.

You will have to pay to freeze his sperm because insurance won't pay for that. Why bother freezing sperm? You are better off not having children.

You sound too young to be having sex if you're asking questions like this.
You want to take a pill that's going to screw up your body and expect to find one that's healthy? That doesn't make sense to me.
Wear the freaking condom. You can't ask your man to get a surgery performed where they remove his soldiers - and by the way you CAN'T do what you're suggesting unless he makes gradual donations over MONTHS before the surgery. Once they perform the surgery, that;s it for him. You're asking an awful lot of him.
Try an IUD or diaphragm, but PLEASE use protection - I don't want to support another teenage mother.

Try a diaphragm. It causes no health problems whatsoever. Don't have your fiance get a vasectomy if you plan to have children. I don't think a doc would do it anyway if you told him/her you were planning on kids.
