Secure. My grandfather was a cop, as were 2 of my uncles. My dad taught me reverence for police officers and said that when you are in trouble, they are there to help you. The only people who need to fear the police are people who are doing something wrong. I live in Los Angeles, where the police have a bad rep, but I can tell you that I have only found the officers to be helpful and courteous.

They make me feel among other things secure.... the other day i thought I was going to be searched at the court house when the cop told me to turn around with my hands up I got goosebumps all over and weak in the knees from the turn on!!!

Its all depending on the person insecure and some what secure I live in Baltimore and you have cops here who thinks just because they have a badge they can do what ever they want and some(a little bit) are out there to really protect

Don't feel very safe at all. A couple of years ago someone discharged a firearm outside my house at 1:30 am, I phoned 999 and the policeman on the phone said can you go outside and check to see if anyone is injured. I said no I wouldn't that's the job of the police and I was told well we are busy we'll get around to speak to you when we can. They came around at 9:15am .

I feel secure in general but when i here things on the news about police using their clout to bully others it makes me feel very insecure.Thankfully it is a small number that have this attitude.

Secure. I used to have this woman living on my street, she was a policewoman. Everytime I saw her car, I felt so safe. Then she moved, and now.. I feel watched. Hahah, just kidding. But I mean, they are there to protect you.. right?
