i usually go for witty. (unless i need help with something, then i give it to whoever helped me most or was correct.)
if it's the type of question where all the answers will be basically the same, i give it to a contact or the person with the least amount of points.

Do you mean how as in how to you decide on one, or how do you go about the function of doing that on this website?
If you mean the former, i just read all the answers and decide who gave the most appropriate answer for that particular question, funny answer for funny question, or serious answer for serious question, and if it is serious, who answered the question the most informatively.

One of the main reasons I don't like asking questions. Alot of my contacts answer & I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings. I get myself all worked up about it, because everyone's answers are usually so good.......so I go with who sparked the most reaction out of me...usually laughter is a key for me :-) I do go and thumbs up my contacts best answers to give them extra points to try & make up for it on the sly....shhhhh...don't tell...ok? ;-)

Hard to say. I look at their questions and their other answers ,their points .If their answer hit me right .If I can't decide or there are to many I let it go up for the vote.
