You bet! No matter how many laws you pass against guns they are just plain easy to make. You can make them in your garage with hardware store parts. Guns are 14th century technology for goodness sake!
So gun control only insures criminals have a monopoly on guns. Good going!
We all have a right to protect ourselves and gun-control is just people control. Anyone that wants to take your gun is no friend.

There are certainly varying views on this topic, how ever living in Scotland I really don`t see the need for Joe Public to own a gun. I can`t think of a valid reason. You might argue sport but then the skill would be in hitting the target and you can do this without the need of a gun. Some may say Game keepers and the like and yes I could see a point but there are other ways to enforce pest control that are just as effective. We have here in Scotland over the last few years seen a rise in children ( whether accidental or otherwise ) killing children using airguns, we also have in the past witnessed some horrific atrocities involving those who do know better ( adults that have been members of gun clubs etc) taking their misgivings out on the innocent. You might argue that this is only a minority in comparison to the many `responsible` enthusiasts but I`m sorry I feel the loss of one life or even the permanent disfigurement of anyone, for me anyway is far too much to ask for. I can picture being in the bank while some one attempts to rob it at gun point, all the customers drawing guns to halt the deed and the result being akin to something from the 1930s` America with mass shootouts between the public/police and Scot lands very own McBonnie and McClyde. Not to forget of those incidents were innocent have been gunned down by mistake by those enforcing our laws

The bad guys prefer unarmed victims!!.
When seconds matter calling 911 and asking the bad guy to wait is not a viable option.
Better to have a gun and not need it than to need it and not have it!!!

So you are against the private ownerships of gun! Do you believe in fire extinguishers? Why, you can always call the fire department!!

That's the popular saying. I'm not sure that it plays into their strategy of how to perform their "job" though. If you've ever known any career criminals you'd agree that they're not particularly bright and don't use very good judgement.

Watch this police abuse and tell me why we need gun control. Look at Bush kill and continue this war , when the American people have said stop / we do not approve.
I do not care for guns, but they are necessary to defend ourself and to establish respect.
Countries build aresenals , they may not intend to use them / but they will cause others to respect them.
There was a song about R-E - S-P-E-C-T written many years ago. LOL. It's still on target in my opinion. :-)

Yes they do. Fewer guns for the rest of us to defend ourselves with and it's not like the criminals are going to obey the law and not get a gun.........

Ferret what the heck are you smoking, you sound like one of those losers that predicted Fort Lauderdale would turn into a war zone when "stand your ground" laws were enacted there. And last I checked, there have been no abuses. The first shooting to fall under that law was justified.

COME TO THINK OF IT, IF WE GAVE ONE TO ALL THE WOMEN BEING SLAUGHTERED ON THE JUAREZ BORDER AND IF THE 400 WOMEN BEING RAPED, MURDERED WOULD HAVE HAD ONE, MAYBE THE MEN WOULD NOT BE SO WISE TO TOUCH A WOMAN WHEN SHE PULLS OUT A AK 47 OR A TOMKAT OR A 9 MILL. THEN THE REAL BASTARDS DOING IT OVER THEIR MIGHT THINK TWICE ABOUT WHERE THEY STICK THEIR "gun"
