George Bush impeached (along with Cheney, Gonzales,
Rove and anyone else in his administration). But alas, there were no true grounds for impeachment and he would be out of office before all the hearings and trial had ended. Politicians should watch what they promise as the media
keeps track of all of those. Pelosi has had to back down on
several things she'd said earlier.

I find it interesting how the right wing need to ask a question with a false premise and rather than answer questions like who made the commitments you hide behind insults and tenuous at best claims. Bush and his administration will face claims if not charges of war crimes. The justification for war in Iraq? False and manipulative. The base at Guantánamo? Breaches Human Rights and contravenes the Geneva convention. The business deals in relation to Iraq? If not criminal should be at the very least totally immoral. The degree to which Bush has allowed America's infrastructure to decay? Well it only is a symptom of America's slide into a crumbling Roman Empire typ ruin and George W is Nero.

Not that it matters anymore, there isn't time left in his term for a full impeachment hearing, much less a conviction. It's best just to let him go quietly, and hope the next President will be able to clean up most of the damage.

Doesn't make a difference every Presdient since March 6, 1933 has violated their Oath of Office to defend the Constitution.

Article I, Section 10, US Const. cleary states that gold and silver is the the only Thing that is to be a Tender in the payment of debts.

And the only way to change what it says in the Constitution is by the amenment process, and the method of amendment is listed in Article V, US Const.

THere has never been an amendment to the Const. removing gold or silver from the US currency.

Gold and silver were removed from the currency of the US by Executive Orders by FDR and Nixon.

Executive Orders do not trump the amendment process to modify the US Constitution.

Thus every president and congressman or senator who has taken/given their Oath of Office has violated it by not returning gold or silver to our currency..

I don't recall any promise of impeachment. I do recall Nancy Pelosi saying she would NOT pursue impeachment. Apparently the hate mongers on conservative hate radio have been stirring up trouble again or is this something you thought up all by yourself?

Nobody promised impeachment hearings before the last election,except for right wing liars like Rush and Savage.It was explicitly stated by Pelosi and Reid that,if they won,impeachment proceedings were off the table.
