i'm talking about a regular parker brothers quija borad. i believe in ghosts and the harm a quija board can cause, but if i don't use it for those purposes, wouls it still call ghosts?

A lot of it depends on what you already believe.
If you do it with people who don't believe at all either than probably nothing would happen.
If you believe that such a thing is 'witchcraft' and 'from satan' and all that good stuff, then yes it could harm you.
In reality, either way it can't 'spiritually harm' you unless you invite it to do so and then let it.
I can give you some practical advice if you want it.

I have posted non- related questions here before. This is the section I have become comfortable with, I know the people here and enjoy their company. I don't want to hear from a bunch of strangers. I have received e-mails that are not in the friendly category, my response depends I usually answer , but if its just stupid I ignore it. When I surf for a question I am not compelled to answer any question I chose it and that person can do the same.

I knew a guy who had 5-6 Ouija boards
He claimed each one had a different entity communicating to him
He obviously had allot of fun with them
Life is the ability to interpret input around us
Right or wrong....I don't think is the issue....use everything you can while you are here to understand life

With your attitude, your own inner feeling will cause you problems. An OuiJa board is only an amplifier of a person's talent and inner beliefs.

If not ghosts what are you contacting? Spirit entities? Demons? I have always been taught that what is not of God is of the Devil and I have never seen any person of the cloth regardless of their denomination, use a form of divination to speak with Him.

my mother used this saying a lot "the devil is always busy", what it means is that the devil can use something as simple as a board game to deliver his promise of evil onto the world. i like you, am a believer in what this harmful too can do. so my advice to you is no, don't use this board. i may sound crazy to others, but, no one can disprove otherwise if it is real or not.

Ouija boards and tarot cards always lead to something bad happening. You would be well advised to discontinue any use of them and not association with people who do.
