No not me, my uncle. It was early one morning, he was on the way to work and got splashed by a female driver. He said he threw a bottle at the car. It is actually illegal. All a driver has to do is slow down. A driver is aware or is supposed to be aware of evrything going on ahead so should slow down to prevent that from happening.

Yes it's happened a few time. I think when I used to walk to school. I did it to someone by accident when I was working as a delivery driver. It was pouring heavily down with rain and visibility was really bad. I was driving up this road about 40mph I didn't see anyone until the last second and I hit this puddle on the side of the road and saw this massive wave of water splash over this person. I looked in the rear mirrow and they were just standing there looking down on them selfs. I felt really guilty about it but it did make me laugh.

Oh yes. Probably one of the funniest things I've ever witnessed, though, was my sister driving around a bend and catching a pedestrian's shoulder bag with the car wing mirror and scooping the bag off the woman's shoulder. Absolutely knicker-wettingly hilarious. (I know it's not related to puddles, but for some reason it reminded me so I thought I'd share)

I do my best to avoid it without causing an accident. If I have to go through a big puddle that's near pedestrians (on coming close traffic) I go really slowly.

I have been splashed by a bus. I had a moan to my fiance about it later that day and he told me I should have taken the registration number and gone down the bus depot to report it. The driver would have faced disciplinary action.

Yep and then it was pouring at the same time and I'm on my mobile talking to my sister in South Africa and did I curse and she's just like what are you swearing me for, needless to say I had to phone back to South Africa and give a grovelling apoligie.
Damn every time I think of it I curse that driver.
