Sally Fields was censored by Fox in the United States, but it was not censored in Canada. This appears to be a form of political censorship, because "god-damned" is 100% acceptable and that part was not bleeped.anyway. (see references below)

The following links and text is from the referenced sites. As a personal note, we know that the famous Superbowl wardrobe malfunction resulted in networks delaying all broadcasts to avoid facing huge fines now in effect. This delay is very convenient in censoring political opposition as well. It has not stopped the marvelous Sally Fields. We like you... We really like you.

Wait for their children to come home from danger, from harm’s way, and from war. I am proud to be one of those women. If mothers ruled the world, there would be no..."

*"god-damned wars in the first place."

After event when meeting with press...

*"And I very, very seriously think that if mothers ruled the world we wouldn't be sending our children off to be slaughtered."

*"Technically, Field's censored words are not profane. A 2004 FCC ruling specifically stated no objection to the use of "goddamn" on TV when making a judgment on the uproar over Bono swearing at the Golden Globes in 2003 where he used more colorful language."
