They only eat in the same direction if they are used to eating from a trough. Trust me, grazing cattle are all over the place.

they will eat in all directions only cattle fed from a trough eat facing the same direction unless the trough is in th middle of a pen that they can come up from both sides they eat in all directions because this helps them look for preditors also

They don't. A small herd of cows will move round a paddock during the day and they tend to move together so often they are facing the same way. Larger herds also move but they don't all move the same way.

They don't, trust me I've lived in Oklahoma for the past 35 years and have seen thousands and thousands of grazing cows.

I think that they all are facing opposite to the wind so its not in there face.
