I cannot say for sure but it is probably in reference to an old song by Sir Harry Lauder (4 August 1870 - 26 February 1950) who was an actor, singer, composer and more. He was one of the most famous men in the world in his time and he has been called the Scottish Al Jolson.

He sang the song STOP YOUR TICKLING, JOCK somewhere around 1904 - 1906 and it seems to be a song about a drunk man who is pandering a woman.

I tried to find the lyrics to this song but they are not readily available on line.

You can buy records or CD's with that song on it but I cannot find the printed lyrics.

Good luck!
