It is an accurate statement: Freedom comes first. Diversity - TRUE diversity, not the phony reverse discrimmination that's been foisted upon us - happens because people are free to choose it.
Living conditions in the US for all - including the poor - are undeniably the best in the world. It follows then that America is the greatest country in the world. What's arrogant about acknowledging the truth?

Freedom is one of the components of America that makes it great. Diversity is another. There are other components as well. No country can be considered great for a single reason.

The first is a statement of opinion, and doesn't mention anything about race. The second is true about the country and the American people, it's the government that creates problems around the world.
"I love my country, but I fear my government."

No, because politics sucks today, yesterday and always. Why? Because it does. You are entitled to your opinion - and it looks like this is how politics leaves you. Not arrogant, outspoken is a better description.

The second is correct, not arrogant.
The first is bigoted. And shows you do not know the history of our country. Freedom and diversity--whether of ancestry or culture, and sespecially of ideas--goe together. You cannot hae one without the other.
