To me the show is totally staged, but I have friends that feel as if is reality and that Bret Micheals is looking for love. I would like to know what people think?

I think it's real .I'll have to see. If they make a Rock of Love 2 then it was staged. :P

Against my better judgment, I got hooked on Rock of Love. I actually like Bret Michaels, and I'm pulling for him to find someone. I think some of the show is staged and some of it isn't, but even the parts that aren't staged are certainly arranged in such a way that conflicts will arise to keep the show exciting. There is no doubt that the producers have a say in choosing who is eliminated each week, which is why Lacey stayed on the show for so long. She was being used by the show to keep ratings up, which is unfortunate for Lacey, but something tells me she doesn't mind.

I think the games and elimination challenges and dates are all staged with Bret's input.

But I think he and producers decide together who is going to stay/go.

But I think he's honestly just looking for a girl he can date and have fun with, not necessarily true love.

I love that show. It's my favorite reality show on t.v. right now. I can't wait for the finale in two weeks. I don't know if it's staged or not. I'm just glad Lacey was finally eliminated!

The producers always decide who goes and who stays, based on how interesting each character is and how successful they are at keeping the ratings high. Why do you think the bitchy girls always stay (New York in Flavor of Love, the crazy redhead in Rock of Love, etc.) They make great TV; it has nothing to do with the celebrity 'looking for love'.

well im sure brett didnt just go to vh1 and say "hey i want to find love on your channel". I think that if he did hes an idiot but hey, bretts a cool guy and if he does end up with the girl that is perfect for him than good for him. I believe falvor of love is fake because its just a spinoff of the other shows he was on.

Definitely staged. There is no reality in "reality tv".
