I want to rip my CD graduation adn save the songs to my comp and burn a version for my friend does it take off all ur songs? and no I dont have to cd drives I have to get another one

No, ripping a CD does not remove the songs. Ripping a CD simply copies the files on the CD onto a computer and leaves the files on the CD. After you rip it, the songs will be on both the computer and on the CD.

No, ripping means you're copying the files to your computer. The original cd is not changed.

no. it copies them from the CD into your music library or folder on your computer, leaving the CD untouched.

sort of the same as "burning" a CD doesn't wreck anything either.

my favorite program (audio crusher) lets you pick what songs you want to copy from the CD, all you have to do is check all the boxes in front of the track numbers.

no, It only "rips" them onto your computer from the CD...the songs still remain on your CD.!Hope I helped!
