For the good people of Buffalo I hope the game isn't rained out. Outdoor games are a lot of fun.
For the sake of Gary Bettman, I hope the game is rained out.
I believe they call this a quagmire.
Perhaps the best solution to the quagmire would be to have Toronto host an outdoor game at the same time. Gary can be seated in the middle and enjoy both games at the same time.

Is the w at the end of Buffalo a joke or a did you just spell it wrong? The last outdoor game made a ton of money when 57,000+ tickets were sold. Ralph Wilson stadium can hold more and Pittsburgh isn't that far from there plus there will be plenty of Ontarians going to the game you can bet.
In this respect, i think this is not a bad move for the NHL. When does Ottawa get a game?

Well Montreal played a game outdoors against Edmonton a few years ago......it was like -20 Celsius. Will it be cold enough in Buffalo to make an outdoor rink? As for Gary, he's the team owner's puppet........lol.

Nope, not Gary's last year as head man. In June the Owners gave him an extention and the NHLPA agreed to it in July. All that is left is the announcement and the length of the extention (either 3 yrs or 5 yrs)

Well for trying to have two non-existent cities play YEAH it is. It is Pittsburgh and Buffalo. Adding a W to one and leaving the H off the other, either use the TEAM name or take the time to look up the correct name of the city.

Their playing at the Ralph Wilson stadium. It is in Orchard park (the town). Get a map if your trying to find the location. so far as i know this is the only Out door location. Ill be at the game. Email me if you have any more questions.

With all the violence in Buffalo, it was a shame that one of those drive by shootings that occur daily could not have found one stray bullet to hit Bettman while he was there.

learn how to spell and buffalo isnt that bad with crime. its just a crappy place to live. believe or not, it was once one of the best places to live.
