Unless he doesn't play 65% of the Patriots defensive plays then they can franchise him again if he has another big year or pay him the money. I think last year was just a 1 year stud with him.

It doesn't look like he will get the 65% because the Pats aren't starting him because he missed training camp. They consider Ellis Hobbs a better shutdown corner anyways.

Samuel doesn't exactly having burning speed either. Even with those 10 interceptions, his hands are questionable. He drops many interceptions, usually the deep ones. He missed one in the Chargers game went through his arms. Hes deadly on the screen passes though.

He will be a free agent, thing is this year he agreed to play because the pats promise not to tag him again. He mentioned that he would like to finish his career in New England, but who knows if the Pats will give him the money he's looking for.

I think the Patriots won't be stupid enough to let him go and will sign him to a long term deal...Sorry...He's not leaving...

liek the first person said but i think he should explore and see wut options are out there from a team with good offense no defense for example the saints
