We bought some silicone spray from Home Depot but it stinks! The entire house smelled for hours. Are there any silicone sprays that don't smell?

Go to an appliance repair place. They sell a food grade silicone spray that you can use on refrigerator gaskets and things that food might come in contact with. Markets use it on food slicers and any where lube might be required it does not have an unpleasant odor.

OMG I probably bought the same brand! Gunk Liquid Wrench HD Silicone Spray...It liked to drive me out of my home it smelled so bad. Gave me a headache and nausea. I found some with no smell on the Internet..I can't remember the brand but it was actually advertised as "No Scent /Unscented Spray Silicone..No smell at all.Worked great cost around $5 for a 10 ounce spray can.....I'll try and find it again and e-mail you the brand name....Good Luck...

Try "TRI-FLOW" spray. It is a teflon spray. Minor if any at all, odor. And lasts longer than silicone or WD-40.

Candle wax works good too for sticky windows/doors---just take a candle and rub it along the areas the door/window rubs against.

The french doors will increase the resale value. If you get rid of access to the backyard you will decrease the home value

WD40 isn't bad but they all have an odor.
