Space Ends where you want it to End.Neverthe less time never ends it is a continuous streching and strecthing quantity, always increasing.
Einstein in his theory of General relativity indicated that space is a finite system. Hence having a boundary. But he never mentioned that time has no End.
In reality time has been continually moving in the universe and oscilating between time levels . Hence, the motion of time is relative. Where as ,when we look into the substance of space in the universe and observe at a large space between the obsever of the mass structure way out in the depth of the Universe the mass structure appears to schrink in size and appears to move very slowly to our naked eye. As the mass appears to became smaller with distance ,time appears to be longer with distance at the same instance of observation.
Hence humans see mass structures that are far way as disappearing and the further away we look ,time seems to be infinite and in continual motion.

the 2 people above me are theoretically correct. the biggest theory is that space bends back around on itself into a sort of hypersphere. (4 dimensional sphere).
this will explain it.
The big bang theory says that the primevil atom (tiny particle of pure energy that existsed before anything else) exploded and when it did that released so much raw energy that it actually created space and time. so the expansion of space would have to have a speed, because nothing is instantaneous thats quite impossible. so there has to be a point where space stops, and when space stops you cant go any further, there is nothing. thats different from there being no matter. having no space is like having 1 atom, but no where to put it.
so if there is a definate boundry to space then there has to be something beyond it, and there would have to be a spot you cant go any further, this is also impossible. because nothing can be beyond the limit of space because theres, obviously, no space. and there cant just be a wall that you hit and cant go any further, no credible scientist believes that. so what is the universe expanding into?
the only answer that allows all of that to be true is that the universe is 4 dimensional. so if you went in a shuttle forever in one direction you would never reach the end, you would just end up right back where you started (this is not a sphere, its a hypersphere which is a 4 dimensional sphere. if it were a sphere there would have to be something outside of it).
a good example of a 4 dimensional object like this (its not really 4 dimensional, but its has a property of 4 dimensional objects, it doesnt have an end) is a mobius strip.
take a piece of paper and cut and inch long strip, then twist it 180 degrees (so it looks like DNA does) and then tape the 2 ends together. you can now take a pencil or pen and start at the taped end end draw a line one direction. you will draw the line on both sides and end up back where you started.
if that was to confusing im sure you can go on google and type in mobius strip and it will tell you how to make it.

Your question is one confined by the concept of a three-dimensional physical universe (with a half-dimension of time, as some physicists would insist)...and therein lies the problem.
In a literal sense, the 3-D physical universe that you imagine we live in never ends. As an individual human within this construct, you have absolutely no chance to travel or even see anything close to the physical edge of the Universe, it is far far too vast.
It is easier to think about this issue in terms of how you actually DEFINE a dimension. I believe that we, not just humans but ALL life, and indeed all matter and energy in the universe, exist in infinite "dimensions." A traditional physics teacher would tell you that a dimension is defined as being physically perpendicular to another dimension, but that of course begs the question, which one is the first dimension. The truth is, there are no three dimensions and any human being's conceptualization of the Universe as such is a direct result of their perception and interpretation of the matter and energy in their immediate surroundings.
It will also help for you to STOP thinking about the Universe in terms of time. Time, like the 3-D Universe, is a concept, nothing more, and it is again based entirely on perception. It is an exceedingly useful tool for society in terms of organization and resource management, but there is no master clock in the middle of the galaxy somewhere that proclaims the official time throughout the Universe. It is for that reason that you, and indeed anyone else, can feel free to completely let go of the constraints they feel from their own personal conception of time. It simply doesn't exist, and that means you now have ALL the time you ever wanted to do anything and everything with your life...It can be very relaxing once you let the idea sink in and think about all the positive ramifications.
I view life like this, there is only one TIME in my life, and that is the time I am alive. When I die, and that time changes, it won't make any difference to me because I will be DEAD. So until that time, I am going to rock THIS time out to the fullest, and I suggest everyone else do the same...hope this helps...

If some of the interpretations of Einstein are correct, the universe curves around forever upon itself, a multi-spiral mobius strip, with the bands weaving in time: there is no beginning, so there is no end.

No one really knows for sure where the borders are. But, really the universe is a giant balloon that is getting bigger and bigger, and eventually when it can't stretch any further it will pop, and all matter in the universe will be instantly destroyed.

space is finite and therefore everyrthing inspace stays in space. that is why energy transfers.
